wow - 11:33 p.m. 11.19.2001
My fingers are ice cold and snot is frozen to my lip. My knuckles almost can't move to type this.

Really.

Did anyone else see that meteor shower tonight? Man, that really blew me away.

Have you ever had one of those times where you just say, "Wow", to yourself, no one even there to hear it? Over and over I was impressed by what I saw. At some point, I even had a friend to join me, Scott. I met Scott tonight, actually. I hiked up aways into the hills I live by, no shirt, no warmth. (No service?) Scott ended up there too and we became star gazing buddies a while.

Best of all, I got to watch the stars with a friend I haven't seen in a long time. Remotely. Over my cell phone, I got to digi-hang with Rachel, a friend from camp. "Wow"ing at the same time sometimes really rocked my world. And we both went to porn shops! Felt good to talk to her. For those who care, from LA, Orions belt is horizontal. From San Francisco, it tilts upward. The North Star is always to the left. We think.

Friends all over tonight, digital and real. :) all over the place. Feel the love.

I don't usually talk like this, but hey, I don't usually hike either.

My nipples are frozen off.

Coyotes scare the crap out of me.
